Joining & passes06

Do I need to book a day pass?

No. Day passes (£7) and week passes (£17.50) are paid at reception, so just turn up. A week pass runs for 7 consecutive days from the day you buy it.

Do I need an induction?

No. If you are new to training, some of our personal trainers offer a free first session (see the personal training section). Every member of staff is a Level 3 personal trainer and happy to help on the floor.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. Choose a membership paid in full for 1, 6 or 12 months, or a monthly direct debit with a 2-month minimum. After the first 2 months you can cancel with 10 days’ notice by emailing info@basegyms.co.uk. If your notice falls within 10 days of your next payment, that month’s payment is still due.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes, free of charge. A freeze lasts a minimum of one month and can run for as long as you need. Get in touch to arrange it.

Who qualifies for the concession rate?

Blue light employees, armed forces and veterans, students, under-18s and over-60s.

How old do I need to be?

The minimum age is 16. If you are 16 or 17, a parent or guardian signs up on your behalf; there are no other restrictions once you are a member.
